LF: part number & price

I've tried contacting a couple local dealerships, and got NO help from them (weird).

I'm trying to find the part number and price for the reverse sensor for a 2002 protege 5 with manual transmission. The manual transmission comes from a 2001 protege sedan, so that could be an issue.

That same transmission was used for my ATx > MTx swap, and the reverse lights didn't work in that setup, but lots of things didn't work with that setup.

Any way of getting that part #? And if someone has a dealership hookup, or online source for the part, any price would be awesome.

If the part #s are different for the '01 sedan and '02 hatch... I'd likely buy both and hope one works.

I got a PM from someone, saying the part was $44, but don't have a part number or details on whether or not the different years have different sensors.

Maybe I'll shoot up to my local dealership, the guy behind the counter seems to know his stuff, so he might be able to help out

Do you know if changing this will for sure fix the issue? Or just guessing?
