Protege's Replacement - Toyota Venza

sooo... protege was 12 years old going on 13.. and with a stroller and baby seat.. space was limited... was time to upgrade. Carcostcanada was great, made the whole process so easy. I sent an e-mail to 5 different Toyota dealers in the GTA and one agreed to sell me a Venza for $500 over invoice.. which when matched with dealer incentives.. was a $5600 savings on MSRP.

Picked up a 2011 Toyota Venza V6 AWD Premium With Leather.... wife wanted the same colour as my TSX.. so now we have twins.. not in the identical sense.. more in this sense:

lol! was trying to figure out what you meant.. must have clicked in the wrong spot with the blur tool... I'll fix that when I have a chance.

You can almost see the stupid dent someone put in my driver side door of my TSX.. other than that the car is MINT for being 6 years old.. one tiny door ding on the passenger side rear just got it.

looks good. i was looking at those and my wifes likes them, but we needed to wait for money to fly out of our asses to be able to afford it first.

not sure how i feel about the bug deflector, but it ain't my car. i really want a white next car, but can't convince my wife. she doesn't want to drive out to horseshoe valley in the snow storms with a white car. i just tell her silver isn't much better.

on another note. mattamy homes? flooded basement yet? oh wait, thats just their bracebridge development.

lol no not mattamy.. actually Firstview homes.. you should know them well in Barrie.

I agree with the bug deflector, I think toyota should have just covered the toyota symbol instead of having this big white unprotected circle in the middle. It looks much better in person for some reason than photos. Eventually I'm going to replace the symbol with a black one (on black background).. that should make it look a lot better. I just didn't want to go with a 3M film again as it doesn't look that great on my TSX after a while.. but still better than stone chips.

Congrats on the new car. My old man is looking to replace his 1999 Chev Blazer with something newer. I suggested he look at the Venza. Its a great looking vehicle.
