I was at GPK last night (Tuesday) from 6 PM - midnight. The longest wait between races was about 30-45 minutes. Each race is 16 laps at 22-23 seconds/lap. If you go on Monday or Tuesday night they run the karts at Speed 1 (fastest of 3 governed speeds), which I'm told is 40-45 km/h IIRC.

I gotta check out this karting place, to see how fast it is. The fastest karts though are at Goodwood Kartways. Up to 75 km/h, no joke.

You think Goodwood's are fast, you should check out MIK (Mosport Int'l Karting), they've got some serious elevation changes that make their track much more exciting an grueling to drive than Goodwood's and they also have nearly identical arrive and drive karts.
