New P5 owner

So i Just put my holding payment on a 2002 protege 5
im planning on putting this car in my garage and doing as much work on it as possible and unleashing it next spring but i was wondering if anyone has any parts that they would like to get rid of for this car as well as any good places to pick up parts for it. Im also looking for ans suggestions of what looks really great on this car.
Im planning on shaving all the door handles as well as the rear hatch, lowering it, body kit, coi and all of that but any other ideas would be great.
here is the link for the car

i took it for a test drive and found that the front passenger strut is going on it but im planning on replacing all of the struts anyways, other than that there is nothing wrong with it.
I will also be using this page to record all of the mods im going to be doing to it.

Congrats on the new wheels, nice price.

MOSI would get my vote on where to find parts (PM either thekid, mike_moss or superdave).

As for body kits I would say leave it as is and maybe add a front lip or something, most body kits for the Protege look like shit.

well i i really want to drive it, but at this point in time im getting a really good deal on my insurance on my current car so i couldnt really afford to drive it at this point in time. But this way now that it is parked i will have a lot of time to do all of my mods on in properly. yah i saw the pictures of the shave job it looks nice. Its actually what made me think of it.

Tell them you paid $2000 for it and pay the tax on that. The seller really should of provided you with a used vehicle information package and I believe somewhere on there you and the seller sign and note the purchase price. When my gf bought her most recent car we put the purchase price around $1000 when it was triple that.
