I figured out my plan for relocating the mass airflow sensor but cant illustrate it til my car returns to me and i can snap the necessary pics. So this will be upcoming once I arrange a date with my welding buddy to take this on.
Now I have my battery drain problem which im pretty sure I have figured but need to find the best solution. My Haltech I found is directly hooked up to my battery leaving it running 24/7. The stereo shop that rewired a couple of things for me moved it directly to the battery therefore my light has come on as strain on the battery. Solution1: Put a toggle switch on the wire allowing me to turn the power off to the haltech when not in use (not very practicle im starting to think). Solution2: Simply find a 12v ignition source and connect the wire to that. Easy except Im not good with wiring and dont know where the best place to do this or which wire i need is.... Also side note...I noticed when my car was jacked up before i put the wheels on my driveside wheel was spinning freely when in gear?? Is the problem as simple as a new axle or what am I looking at here.... |

I can't be 100% as it's been a while, but I believe the Haltech should be wired to a 12V constant.
Check out the HiBoost instructions & make sure it's wired up as they suggest. I don't see a problem with the wheels spinning freely, but your description isn't very detailed.

By spinning freely, do you mean that you can turn the wheel by hand, while the engine is off, with the gear shifter in anything but neutral? Then if so, yes that is normal. You'll notice that if you turn one wheel, the other won't, unless you have a LSD which will make the other wheel spin in the opposite direction IIRC.

No, an LSD behaves like a posi. In neutral, both turn the same way.
and The haltech is supposed to be wired constant. It has a remote wire like an amplifier that turn it on.
