I have found booking an appointment first thing in the morning is a lot better than any other time. That way the doc hasn't had the opportunity to fall behind on his schedule.

That "theory" has been once again shown to be true this morning when my spouse went out to the drop-in clinic early this morning. 20 minute wait by the time she was there, and it was an hour by the time she was in the doctor's office.

I work at a clinic and I see the patients POV but alot of times Dr.'s actually run behind due to patients coming in 10-20mins late due to traffic, work etc. Don't get me wrong Dr.'s do take their time and lag behind but some actually run on time, well atleast the clinic I work at. Just saying.
