Bumper primer.
Hey guys. I'm planning in painting my bump and was just wondering if you knew if Bumper Primer was avaliable at say CT or where I can get some. Thanks.

how long do you want a diy job to last, and how good to you want it to look?? if the answers are "a long time" and "very good", take it to a professional and drop the $200 to get the bumper painted properly.
otherwise, just go buy some primer and paint and hope for the best, its about the best chance you have. |

Get some good urethane based primer from the paint store, the kind you need to add hardener to. Get a compressor and HPLV gun and spray it. You will save money in the long run over buying rattle cans. For example, a pint of good base coat is around $40, which will thin down to about a quart. You can paint both bumpers and skirts with this. It would take about 6 rattle cans to do this at about $120.
