2003 P5 tire size

I'm curious to know what tire sizes I can install on a stock rim (195,50R/15)?

It's hard to find these specs. And which tire do you guys recommend? In mind, i have goodyear eagle gt or motomaster touring...

thanks.

205/50/16 is a popular choice

P5 stock is 16" alloy. so it must be at least 16"...not 15
Stock is 195/50/16...going to 205 is fine.

i'd go 205/50/16 on stock rims. much more popular and affordable option than 195's.

dont forget speedo will be a tiny bit off with 205..you'll actually be going a little faster than what speedo says.

at high speeds 120+, I guess it can mean the diff between ticket or not.

^true. but in this case, you are looking at a 1.66% difference in size. if your speedo says 120, your doing 122. not a huge difference. good to keep in mind if going even larger though.

i have a relative question for you guys.
i have a protege sedan. OEM tire size is 195/55/15.
looking for my summer wheels, im not really sure if i would get any issues when i try replacing them with different tire size.
is it safe if i do 16'' or 17''s?

i dont really know much so could someone please help me?

answers would be deeply appreciated.

When I want to check optional tire sizes I use 1010tires tire size calculator
it will tell you when you go past recommended 3% difference maximum
http://1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp
I must get around to introducing myself picking up Protege ES GT on Thursday
