Cool 1999 Mazda Protege - 991.8L

I wanted to create a thread to track the progress of my Protege from start to finish as many have. She's not much to look at, but shes slowly coming along. Here is my most recent history:

Completely stock, just the way my wife bought it.

1999 Mazda Protege LX 1.8L

First upgrade tints from Audio Heaven 35% sides 18% rear:

Next came the black side mouldings they had to go:

After loosing my first hubcap.... I couldn't spend another moment without alloys... call this a first step alloy as they will eventually become my winters 14" MX-3 Alloys from a fellow club member:

Picked up some RSX-S 19mm chrome lug nuts:

Next came a nice blue Protege 5 tie bar:

My latest project is a set of Black Housing headlamps & corners recently picked up from Mazda_Son. Not sure if I'm keeping the black corners or amber yet, but I will post up photos of each:

Also picked up some hyper white blubs for the corners, to give it that blue reflective look:

More photos to come... as soon as I toss these headlamps in today.

If I were to do it again id get 28%.... 20% is a little too dark on the sides for me.

AEM Intake Installed

Spent some time installing a newly purchased (MOSI) AEM Intake powder coated blue to match my "theme." Next come my Blue NGK Spark Plug wires to complete the look. Don't worry engine shampoo will be sometime this week.
