Ok, so this weekend, I'm going to remove my 17s, and put my 14s back on. Anyone know what the best method of storing them is? Should I put them at full PSI to keep the tire shape? Should I store them upright? sideways? Should I move them around every couple weeks to prevent flatspots? let me know....

I usually mark them with a grease pen on the inside to remember where they came off.
Bag them - plastic.
Store them stacked in two's on the sides.

No problem with this method that I know of.

LOL.....hmm, that's a thought. Bill, why do I need to mark them? I've already taken them off and on like, 4 times since I got them a month and a half ago....I have directional tires too, so the right side tires will stay there, same with left. Also guys, what PSI do I leave them at? Thanks guys..this is my first time storing wheels....

And oh ya..I have the space so that they don't need to be stacked at all? Is this recommended?

If they're already on rims I can't think of why there would be a problem with stacking. Maybe if the tires are off-rims and there's a lot of weight on them they will get "squished" ? hehe ..

i say make custom hangers made out of wire hanger and hook thru the bolt holes. then hang them. no weight on the tire at all. but *GASP* what about GRAVITY!!! hmmm...ship them to space.

I know from first hand experience that platic bagging them is no good. You're gona trap moisture inside the bag. And you might get oxidation on you're rims.

Just wash em and stack em. Don't stack em on concrete. Put them on a piece of wood or better yet a piece of foam insulation.

You could have them Cryogenically forzen so that they don't age. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Maybe you could thaw them form time to time and talk to them to keep them company, because you wouldn't want them to develope a severe separation disorder. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
