If any of you read my post regarding the Sparkco wires here:

http://msg.toprotege.com/cgi-bin....o;st=50 (http://msg.toprotege.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=4;t=2432;hl=sparkco;st=50)

So I sent a email on friday:

Hi Peter,

Its been close to a month now. When I spoke to you last week you informed me that you would send out a new set on Thursday (Oct 10th). Its been another week and I still have to receive my new set.

I’m quite upset that I haven’t been getting any information from you regarding the situation, and it seems to be me having to call you to get any information. At this point in time I would appreciate it if you could just refund my money for the wires and I will gladly ship the set I have back. However I don’t feel that I should have to pay for the shipping of the wires back to your company as they were a manufacture defect.

Thanks again for your business, I look forward to your reply.

And today I received a reply from him:

Hello Amish,

How are you? Sorry for the late reply to your last emails, I was out of town.

Sorry, I think we are misunderstand each other. We have to receive the defect wire set first, so that we can exam the wires. We will send you a complete new set under warranty with prepay express shipping. We will pay you back the return shipping cost. Please send it back to us by regular Canada Postal service.

Again, we are sorry about this misunderstanding. We will send you a new ( improve ) wire set immediately once we've received the old one. Thanks!

Please ship it back to our office address as followed:

Misunderstanding????????

We have to receive the defect wire set first, so that we can exam the wires.

The first time I spoke with him on the phone he said he would ship me a set, then when I got it I could ship mine back.

The second time I spoke with him on the phone he said that because they are making the new wires to send my set back to save time.

Now he's saying that they have to exam the wires before they can send me a new set.

WHAT the hell? He told me on the phone it was a error when they made them, because the plugs weren't long enough to cover the entire COILS???? WHAT examanation do they need to do.

I'm SEVERELY pissed off right now. I'll reply to his email when I've calmed down a little...

Dude I understand that you must be frustrated, but nobody in thier right mind is going to replace or refund any product without checking out the defective wires first.

Not sure if you read the other post but...

I spoke with him on the phone. This was about 2 weeks after he said he would mail me a new set. When I spoke with him, he said that there was someone else in Montreal who also sent back a bad set. Thats when he told me that the wires were NOT designed correctly for the 1.8, and the plugs were not long enough to cover the coils.

He was the one who mentioned the wires being designed incorrectly, so WHY does he now want to EXAM them?

HE told me that a new set would be shipped out on THURSDAY. These are words he used, I don't see why he's pulling me leg.

Someone else from Sparkco in the US is going to speak with him however, and sort this out for me.

I finally ended up getting things sorted with Sparkco (yes now). I got my new set today, and will try it out tomorrow as my car is in the shop.

I've posted this URL at the top for you guys to check out. Its got pics of the different wire set (this is for the 1.8L, NOT 2.0L). Just some info incase anyone in your club is getting the wires.

Glad you got the wire problem solved, they actually look like they will fit better with the round but who knows, if it is going to be a good snug fit. Let us know here.
