Plastic Ties...

I installed my intake and I am looking for something to tie up two "things"...but i am worried about melting or stinking up the car.

1) The "thingie" that has vacume hoses attached to it near the intake manifold.
2) a loss tube running from the rad overflow reserviour to the rad cap.

I have plastic zip ties all over my engine holding things in place. they haven't melted.... so i'm guessing yours won't melt either!

Won't those plastic ties detoriate fast over time in the hot engine bay.

Even CarDemon down at Ghetto Concept Performance Trends would install mini-metal clamps that have the screws to tighten and release the circumfrence grip.

Just plain old home depot circular metal clamps.
They tighten and release with a screw mechanism.
They should make them that small!!!

"circumference clamp" (term from GCPT founder) = "hose clamp" (as defined in most hardware stores)
