Hi, I just signed up, and was hoping to talk to some more Canadians about buying stuff for our Mazdas.

I'm currently looking for the steering column gauge pod from Protege5online.com, but i don't want to get screwed on shipping or duty.

So...I was wondering if anyone on this site (from Canada) has ordered from Protege5online. Mainly the pod, but if anything else would be appreciated.

thanks much

I just ordered a set of the AWR motor mounts from a group buy Mitch (mp5 at protege5online dot com) is holding on the forums. Excellent pricing, especially since it included shipping.

Mitch will also ship the package as a "gift" if you ask him to with a lower value if your fine with that.

So what your saying is that you didn't have to pay shipping at all? Last thing i ordered from the states, shiiping was free, but I had to pay Brokerage fees and TAX.

someone on mp3.com said to ship stuff with USPS you will only get billed with about $5 charge.

Just be careful when getting stuffed shipped by "UPS Standard" from the states, you will incur a brokerage charege, whereas their Expedited or Express services include the broker as part of the shipping cost from my experience.

"USPS" : United States Postal Service
"UPS" : We're-going-to-rape-you-and-take-all-your-money service.
