I know how to fix some things in that car. I had a 84 with a 1500cc swap.

I'll be calling you Ross if I get stumped with my Buddy keith....All the thing needs is a water pump and it should be fine...looks rusty but the body actually isnt too bad from what ive seen...new clutch and everything else is fine...gotta check all the lights and signals still....

you should see my winter beater. 87 jeep cherokee laredo 4x4. the only time it hits the road is to pull people out of the ditches around my house, since it would cost too much to safety, etc. BUT NOW THERE'S NO MORE DITCHES ON MY STREETS! http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif
you know what is really fun to do with it? after a really bad snowstorm like 20cm or more, wait till the snowplow goes by and ruins everyones driveways with 4 foot windrows of snow and then blast through everyones driveway for them with it!

unfortunately my P5 will be enduring our Canadian winter, thank god it's rust and sound shielded.
you know what i just realised? I've never driven a manual tranny car in snow! I had a very good handle on my old Protege S which was auto with no ABS but i guess I'm off to a nice big empty parking lot come first snowfall. Conveniently I'm off work tomorrow so I'll (hopefully) wake up during normal hours and go see about ordering my winter tires. hey if you see a black P5 slidin around somewhere, approach with caution and give me a holler!

its actually easier to drive stick in the winter. you have more control and its near impossable to stall (since your wheels dont get traction) anwyay, i actually learned how to drive MT in the winter in my bros 'stang (RWD) hah.

I have a friend who we all call "Post" (since he's about as smart as one), We were in his car, going down a fresh snowcovered hill and he downshifts like the idiot he is. Immediately sends his car into a 540 through an intersection
We has good time
