I'm going up to Alton tonight to help my friend out with some home reno. (I can still taste the plaster from Friday.)

So, now that there is some powder down, I'll give the route a quick once over and report back.

I need to fabricate an e-brake handle extension. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif

Tentative date, Feb 1st, Alternate date, unknown

If you can assure me there will be no cops in the area, I'm down.

I'm having a bit of an exhaust issue lately and I'm trying to keep a low-profile. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

what does it matter to you? You didn't even come to the last one. Infact you haven't come to anything since Simon's b-day and even then you left early with a buddy. I mean you post on every post regardless of topic and never come to anything whats the deal?

The route should be close to the same I hope, only maybe a few more farm access roads is my opinion MYK. But sounds decent! More snow just means I can outshow all of you again with my superior drifting skills! watch out, the Brampton pu-tang styles!

I am sorry to any officer reading this but I think I am gonna explode!!!!!!!

POST IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING POSATIVE TO SAY!!!!!!!

I mean seriously Jeff your filling pages with lol and me too or can't amke it! When a thread reads post if your coming then post if YOU ARE COMING, not post when I am on the board and wanna post on everything even though I don't have a clue! Geeze man, I hate reading through 2 or 3 posts of BS to get the info I want especially when I post a question. Me too and lol just takes up space and makes my computer slow down loading pages! If you can't spare more than 10 min out of your day for personal activities, then your messed, I have school, a job and this club, not to mention a family in 3 major cities that I am close with and a girlfriend and I still find time to go to meets so forget that excuse!

If you can't make it to a meet and meet the people on the board, you shouldn't be posting in every damn thread that is out there! Seriously, have you ever met Julia or Rowan, but yet you still post in the Home coming and B days, it means nothing if you don't know them!

Firstly, I'm on the scene like James Dean.
And can we stop at that T.J's again so I can see that waitress and gobble those lovely tasty bar-b-que wings?

And what's with the squabbling my friends, I thought most of the TPC Rally Squadron was hesitant of the snow on these types of cruises?

The last Rally was a lovely Sunday Springish morn. Now I'm really gonna call C-o-o-t-e-r (the tow truck guy) and see Ryan drift on his OEM's into a ditch. Please send my love out to Fifi the Maid

Mr. Moss, I usually tail the group so you can be second last, so the Da Man will pull me over as usual. Perhaps Alabama Bob Armstrong or Proboy could also swing around too.

I am exited to see a date and time posted for a snowy "rally" style winter cruise. When a time and date are decided could someone edit it into the first post of this thread? I wanna know if I will be able to make it but I dont wanna read through what looks to be the start of a discussion on what kind of posts are acceptable and then what kind of club this is and what the point of a car club is bla bla bla...

Just throwing that out there. My fiance will be away and I would love to attend.
Let's throw some dates out like last time and decide.

Yeah, don't hijack my thread!

Well, lets just say that there was enough snow down to play with the e-brake. I think that I would like to scout out a longer route.

I have some home improvement project coming up and the winter slolom series to work around. Is evryone up to doing something really really soon, or wait a little bit. I am speaking mostly to those who where on the last one, as we don't want to beat this to death.

I kinda want to wait for another dropping of snow.

If you plan a longer route, it will probably be worth me making the trip from Peterborough to come play with you.
I can show off my mad drifting skillz yo, and teach people how to left foot brake (ABS disabled makes it much easier).
Do P5's have standard ABS?

I'm up for something really really soon... I'm also all over a longer route... while it did take us a while last time, that was because of all our washroom breaks... pre rally modifications... and meeting of random P5 stranger along the way...

I can't do the 11th, plus I need time to map a longer route, and this week is nuts with catching up with work and helping my friend with his renovations. Bring your girl with you.

I'm gonna throw out the 18th for everyone to consider.

Feb 1st as an alternate date.

While you guys bicker at the dates I think that I would like to map out some routes this weekend. I want to see what is up in the Orangeville Hockley Valley Region. There are some other roads off of Heart Lake Rd that look interesting too both East and West of HWY#10.

I'm still down like James Brown regardless.

OH boy! I went mapping today in the same region some of us went last time, but this is more concentrated in the Caledon Highlands north of Brampton East of HWY#10.

If we combine my route with the one to the west, you guys will pooh-pooh your knickers. I did a dry run with just connecting the roads graphically, but I didn't make notation of kilometers, landmarks, terrain and road type.

This will definitely be an all year thing. There are alot of strawberry, pumpkin, apple orchard and that sort of agricultural stop-offs when the growing and harvesting season comes around. I even smell a bar=b-que and picnic too.

Stay tuned, I think I may take a more precise run maybe even saturday. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif

OK, here is my situation as far as a cruise weekend goes, and this is just my crazy schedule so I am in no way putting limitations on this group event.

If people wish to go on there own, please see the previous cruise post and use the route notes provided. I, on the other hand, plan to map out a little longer section. Will probably go this week.

This weekend is pretty toast for me, gotta put my x-mas table saw to good use around the house. The next weekend I plan to do the backsplash in the kitchen, (stainless steel tiles baby!http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif This weekend is a slalom weekend anyways.

So how about Feb 1st?

So, as Tiwing had suggested

I'm not too sure, but this Sunday I would like to finalize my Caledon Highlands World Rally Car Trek Route.

I want to connect it to Myk's route eventually. I have concentrated on North & South parallel runs East of Hwy#10 but want to connect to Myk's West HWY#10 trekkings.
Due to weather, vehicles equipped with snowtires are a must along with FRS radios.

It is still in its initial stages but true pace notes need to be made for, traffic signs, landmarks, road types various topographical notations and distance.

I don't give a crap about football, so if people want to postpone one weekend, I'm OK.

Please post if you want to watch the SB or not.

Kickoff isn't until 6:25pm.... last time we were done by about 3 and that was after sitting down for some eats... should leave lots of time to watch the game.

Given the choice I'd rather be behind the wheel than behind the TV, and either can be followed by drinking beer. Let's keep in Feb 1st and it will be a slightly smaller meet probably.

I don't want anyone to think I was flaming or anything, i just wanted to bring it to everyone's attention, that's all.
If we are done by 3, then there's plenty of time for the game.
I'm going to really try to make this one.

Here's a plan: drive, eat, drink, watch the game at Myk's house... Or at a bar somewhere in Mississauga or Brampton... ? Unless you have other plans, no need to rush home to watch the game eh?

(kidding Mike about at your house, I figured since you don't give a crap about football that you'd want everyone over to watch the game and serve us burgers)

Good idea Kevin! I don't care much for N.A. football either, but I like bar action. I'm still in like Patt Quinn. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif

Funny you should mention that, my wife said a station on the American dish is doing a Queer eye for the straight guy marathon during the superbowl.

I'd rather watch that, not to sound flaming or anything http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Isn't that the show where gay guys do a makeover on a straight guy? Mike (Demon), have you been on that show?

Somebody get a brand new thread and sign-up going so names can be listed along with the pre-meet location and times.

I hate you Logan! http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif
