After helping do two lowering spring installs on two maximas
96 Maxima SE
and 2001 Maxima SE 20th anniversary edition

I have to say, its a not hard at all... Its actually quite simple and i remember when my struts on my protege were removed, and that was a piece of cake..

BEST OF ALL CDN TIRES loans out tools for FREE!!! (just require a deposit)..

This should help someof you guys that want to lower your car but dont have $550 dollars laying around..

Springs are about $200-300 range + alignment of $80

Labour is your own time.. Get some protege club members and do it together.. Its fun, we had maxima guys all come together, couple of beers and some krispy cream and it was all good.. Plus you feel a sense of accomplisment when you say I DROPPED IT MYSELF..

I would love to come and help out!! http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Well if Dave ever sells me his springs I would be in for that.
There is a shop at bathurst and dovenport that does it really cheap like 40 bucks or something but don't quote me.
Paul
THX for the offer nissan man.
