There is another 'how to' posted by Bumble G, showing how to disable your DRL and keep your fogs on without headlights or DRL on.
I don't have me fogs right now, so I found a quick way to keep the DRL off.
Open your centre console and remove the surrounding plastic around the parking brake lever. You will see a white wire running to a small brass clip attached with a phillips screw.

^ you should cut the wire feeding your DRL module near the pedals. PM if you need help locating it. should be posts about it if you search. black/yellow wire

It will disable them from being on when the hand brake is not in use. The only time they will come on is if you engage them via the signal stalk.
