My Bridgestone POORtenzas are almost slicks after 28.000 kms on them and I *NEED* to get new tires or else they will get me.

I have 195/55/R15 now and want to keep the same great-looking steel rims with Mazda-patented "Mazda-stylz hubcaps" (joke!http://toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif that came from Mazda.

I don't wanna pay more than $500 tax-in for them and to get them installed.

I was thinking:

Michelin X-One
Michelin Symmetry
Pirelli P4000 Supertouring
Pirelli P400 Touring
Pirelli P3000 Cinturato M+S

Anything else I should consider?
Also, do you know of any places that might have promos on tires?

Dinu, the key would be to get performance tires with a treadwear rating of 360 or higher. Two models that got good reviews from testers are Bridgestone Potenza 910's and Yokohama Avid H4's. The Potenza 910's have a treadwear rating of 400 and for a H-rated tire, that's pretty good. The Yokohamas on the other hand have a 360 rating, also a good choice. You may also consider Toyo's, as they seem to make very good & long-lasting performance all-season tires.

I did a little research from work today and I narrowed it down to:

Yokohama Avid Touring or H4
Yokohama Aegis LS4
Michelin X-One

I will look into Toyos.

While the Bridgestones 910 are much better than my current R92s, they don't provide much snow traction.

Thanx for the tips!
