Just wondering what kind, if any, of alarms you guys are runnin. Thinking of getting 1, not sure how much to look at spending.

LockdownP5 (is a member) runs Lockdown Security and has done numerous installs for sooooo many of our members. He owns a Protege5 and knows the car inside and out.

He can provide you with a variety of options to suit your needs and budget.

Many members are using the Compustar Start/Alarm/Paging system. I love mine.

I got a Viper alarm w/ installation for $220.  I think the model was 350VHF or something like that, can't remember, but it does a good job. I added a battery backed siren under the hood and one of those small high pitch sirens under the dash.
