Greetings everyone!
Well, its that time of year again when we have to put away all our 'car-bling' and break out the ice scrapers (sniff! ). However, it also means Christmas and Christmas means TORONTO PROTEGE CLUB'S CHRISTMAS PARTY!

After some suggesttions from YOU, Ive arranged to have our party/banquet/dinner at FRANKIE TOMATTOS (http://www.frankietomatto.com) in Markham.

This year, the dinner will be held on SATURDAY DECEMBER 13, 2003 at 4:30pm (pre-meets will be determined at a later date). I chose to have this event on Saturday rather then durring the week like last year as our club is getting larger and with a larger club comes busier schedules, later work nights, etc.

The price of $25 will include EVERYTHING! Alcoholic drinks will be left up to you to take care of (ie, your own bill).

As with last year, we will be having SECRET SANTAS for those who wish to participate. For those that dont know what a Secret Santa is, Ill explain. Everyone who wishes to participate has there names put into a hat. I will RANDOMLY draw names until everyone is paired up with someone. You will now be that persons 'Secret Santa'. Once I have PM'd you your persons name, you then buy them a gift that will be given to them at the Christmas dinner. All the gifts will then be put into a pile and people's gifts handed out by an appointed Santa (*cough*Jason*cough* ). Please, try to keep the gift around $20 or less. This gift will be ANONYMOUS. Do not tell your name that you have drawn them.  You DO NOT have to participate in the Secret Santa if you don not wish to, it will be up to you!

So, if everyone could please RSVP right here in this thread with whether you are bringing a guest (please, only ONE guest per person as space is limited), whether you want to participate in the 'Secret Santa', and TWO suggestions of what you'd like for Christmas incase your Santa gets stuck for ideas!

Sorry guys, I think the same thing happened last year. My Christmas party for work is going on... it's the whole formal attire deal, at the Metro Toronto Convention Center and always a great event, so I'm headed there on Saturday. Cocktails start at 6pm, and seeing as it's formal.. and I'm a woman, it will take me forever to get ready, and probably won't make it for the cocktails. So.. not much of a chance of me passing through Frankies to show face. I guess I'll have to try to make another meet. It's been a year, and I still haven't shown face at a meeting... how shameful.
