Yes, it was a cold day, but Sponge Station has a nice big heated bay where they do all their work. They brought in a black VW Golf that hadn't seen much TLC in the past. The finish was in pretty bad condition - of course it's easy to see every little scratch in black paint. For the demonstration they concentrated on the hood. The staff spent quite a while applying several different products using a high-speed buffer. I wouldn't dare try this myself, but these guys obviously knew what they were doing. After a hand application of "Worlds Best Wax" they pulled the car out into the sunlight for inspection. What a difference! The scratches were gone and the shine was back.
Thanks to Oliver and the guys at Sponge Station for organizing this event, and for all the food/drink and the giveaways. I especially have to thank Apotech for providing the Microsoft multimedia keyboard and optical mouse that I won in one of the draws. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

It was a cold day!
I'd like to thank Sponge Station for their hospitality and making each of us feel like a part of the demonstration. That NSX was pretty sweet!
Ian, Felix, Alex, it was good to meet you guys and hope to see you guys out there for the other meets.
