as some of you know, I'm a mazda virgin... hahahaha...
well, i worked in the automotive industry for years now, and I keep hearing about the melted headlight wiring harnesses. so here are few questions...
1). when i worked selling "speed toys" or the "fast and furious" accessories, i have come across multitude of older 323s, Proteges and even Millenias that didnt take any aftermarket bulbs very well. It seems quite common that using 80w low beam bulbs will melt some connectors and wiring on P5s (I read some of the old posts, hehehehe). But i know of a Millenia that had a harness ruined using a set of 55w (normal wattage) Eurolite bulbs. So my question is... what gives? I want to hear whether or not is is SAFE to use regular wattage aftermarket bulbs. What's the deal?
2). any P5s with H7 retrofit HID kits? I was wondering how does the wiring harness behave (the melting problem) and how is the light pattern in the O.E. headlight housings.
cheers
