Hmmm.. what's going on here? If you look at the tread pattern of the new Dunlop SP Sport FM901 (Samir has them .. the look like really nice tires), and compare that to the Yokohama A520 (have been out for years and are supposed to be quite good) .. they look exactly the same! The Dunlops do come in a size that will fit our stock wheels though so maybe that's a good option instead of the A502's if it turns out they're the same tire.

I'm confused.... http://toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif

I dunno...they do look very similar, with a few suddle differences...i.e., the Yoko has a double channel in the centre, where as the Dunlop only has one...but as with most tires you also gotta take into consideration the tire composition...it plays a huge roll in, stickyness, wear, and things of that nature, so tread pattern alone is one thing, but when you compare tires, you definatly gotta look at all the contributing factors!

Not sure I made any sense there, but GOOD LUCK!

Yes, please I'd be interested to hear your comments as I'm considering just getting the tires alone for this season (the FM901 are about the only high-performance tire that will fit on our stock rims) .. budget isn't looking too good for new wheels and tires.

Allright here are my comments. I have these tires, they look really nice plus they have a rim guard. These tires are Z rated for speed, Wet traction A and tread A, I don't know what the A stands for but that was on the stickers on the tires. Anyway I find them great, The traction is great on them also on wet roads, as you remember we had snow after I got my new rims. They seem to grip the road pretty well, and changing lanes on the hwy is more fun. I also seem to be picking up speed a lot faster too.

I have also slammed on the brakes with these tires and rim. I was coming to a traffic light that just turned amber and I thought the guy in from of me was going to go but the f***er decide to stop so I had to slam on my brake, and let me tell you that I only had about 20 feet to stop, I stopped within an inch from his bumper. These tire and the ABS saved my car. They didn't even squil (don't know how to spell that word).

These tires are brand new from Dunlop, do a search on them and you will find some good feedbacks.

I trusted the guy who sold them to me, he seemed to know what he was talking about. He told me that they are cheaper than the Parada and performs as well or even better.
