This is an open invitation for any of you that are interested in my Hiboost Turbo install. I will be tackling this project with a buddy of mine starting Friday afternoon (1:00pm) and going through the evening (target of 12:00am). I will then have a bit of Saturday morning to work on it the kit, but have a wedding that will occupy the rest of my day and evening. The fun will continue all day Sunday with a hopeful “launch” of the car that evening.
If you are interested in coming by to watch, make fun of the Westside clan, supervise, chill, participate, take pictures, bring coffee or shoot the shit please feel free to come by. I can be reached on those days on my cell 416.702.7517 and I will give you directions to my house when you call. Please call in advance so that I know to expect you and so that you know that I am still working on the car.

can't make it fri or saturday, but if my work is all done by sunday, consider me a coffee boy and a heckler from the sidelines in my retro-green lawn chair.

So this kit is supposed to be a "complete" kit that you can actually do in a weekend?
Or do you live in a machine shop?

Its complete...right down to the down pipe that will mate up with the stock exhaust system. All the piping for the FMIC is already done...all the connectors...wires...ECU harness (no cutting/splicing)....
Two others in the US did the complete install in about 12 hours total.
I have a pretty good selection of tools and equipment including a compressor and a variety of air tools. Plus my mechanic buddy will have his tools available also.

Sounds like you spent your money in the right place, I won't be able to make it to see/help, but I look forward to reading the reports.

DOES ANYONE HAVE 3/8" NPT Tap?
I could not find it at Home Depot and at some local shops.

I almost feel embarrased to lend a hand. Last time at the TEIN INSTALL, Ghetto Concept Performance Trends had his coveralls and hardcore gear ready to work.
I ended up supervising the unsupervised, telling ghetto jokes, sipping Ovaltine and unravelling a hose for you.
I have no real technical expertise to offer if the project ain't a simple ghetto bolt on! Perhaps one day the TPC will see me at my finest hour in action and the overdue respect will come! http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif

For the LOVE OF ALL THINGS....I can't find:
3/4" NPT tap (bit used to make a whole for a bolt or screw to "screw" into)
the largest I could find was 1/2"!
This could be the only thing that holds me back today!

So is it 3/8 or 3/4 cause you said 3/8 in a previous post. I may have 3/8. Did you try Princess Auto? They have all sorts of stuff like that.
