Hey.
I know it's kinda a stupid question. But what is the bulb type for a '03 sedan. I'm asking because I've read that it takes 9003 or H4 bulbs, or are those the same bulb? I just want to make sure before I buy some aftermarket ones.

Thanks. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Take one out and look. Nothing easier than that.

try this:

http://www.sylvania.com/bin....=30&y=2 (http://www.sylvania.com/bin/carApp/carApp_ver2.pl?flag=model_quals&make=&make=Mazda&year=&year=2003&model=Protege&x=30&y=2)

9003 for low/high should work okay

Thanks guys.
I went to the Sylvania site and did see that it said 9003's, but I'm thinking of ordering european Silver Stars from OSRAM and they don't list 9003. But they list H4's.
So I guess I need to know if a H4 bulb will fit.
Guess the fail-safe way would be to just look.

I installed a set of H4's today. I'm assuming the MSP and Protege sedan are the same.

2003 Mazdaspeed - I picked up some Litech H4's from FMP. $30 taxes in. They look a lot better than the stock ones.
