As many of you know, I am enrolled in PR at Humber College. A friend and class mate is organizing an event to help raise money for the Childhoood cancer foundation. I am passing along the information in the hopes of encouraging attendance form the club.

This is an event NOT affiliated with the TPC and has been cleared for posting.

At the event, entrance will be $20. This will be given to the Childhood Cancer Foundation. With the entrance you will be given a key to a set of lock boxes. The lock boxes will contain prices donated by individual sponsors and organizations. The crowd is expected to be younger (Under 30) and would be a great opportunity for a night out and an amazing chance for networking. The following is an outline of the event.

Key to the Cure Quick Facts

The Key to the Cure is a fundraiser to supplement the Coast to Coast Against Cancer, a national bike ride which saw six dedicated men from Ontario cycling non-stop for ten days (7200 km) in order to raise money for the Childhood Cancer Foundation. This event, which took place in June, came up $20,000 short of its goal of $500,000. The Key to the Cure hopes to raise the additional funds for kids with cancer.
