Nah, you won't get any dumb questions from me, I have been seriously into imports for 10 years now, and just finished working at a stereo shop yesterday after two years! I know Honda's inside and out, but I am relatively new to Mazda's. I should be posting a pic of our cars over the next day or so. In the meantime, thanks for the warm welcome.

Well, I have been the manager of a 2001 Audio Video location for two years now, but just gave my two weeks notice. Wow, you guys really don't like Honda's!!! I like all imports, just can't stand the domestics. Between my brothers and me, we have a Subaru WRX, Civic Coupe, Mazda Pro5, Toyota Sienna, Mazda MPV and Mazda Protege. Parents drive a Camry! I can honestly say this though, even though my heart has been with Honda my whole life, I am quickly falling for the Protege. If I had to choose just one of my cars (civic or P5), it would be the P5 no doubt.

Welcome brother!
I believe in Japanese Engineering myself and have Honda in my blood. I respect and love the religion and cult following of Honda Owners who are so faithful standing behind their product. They can also be an ignorant bunch too.
Toyota craftsmanship is also growing on me and Mazda just happened to get me with this P5, but the Ford growing influence has me a moderate faithful.
I am a hardcore ANTI-DOMESTIC engineered rebel who detest mostly FORD and CHRYSLER, but GM is passable, but still not good enough.
You sound like a good man and your knowledge from your background will come in handy. Don't mind the other TOY STORY guys they are fun. They feel like the old Wooden Cowboy Dolls when they see a BUZZ LIGHTYEAR come into the On-line Toy-Box.
Wait until you hear from Westside Dave!!!!
That wee man has always got one in the chamber and he walks around with the safety off. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

What a relief, I thought that maybe this board was a bit narrow minded.....but you guys are showing me different. Once again, thanks for the welcomes, and hopefully I can prove to be a valuable member for this board.

Kaj. Thanks for your intro... A few things though.
1. I hate your screen name how the hell am I supposed to pronounce that Taliban mess of consonants?
2. Been into the import scene for 10 years? 10 years ago I barely had pubic hair! How old are you? Should I bring a respirator to the next meet just in case you fall short of breath after seeing my fine car?
I can tell by your posts and attitude that you live somewhere in Markham or North York. Am I right?

Well, my initials are KAJH, and since I have always been into cars and racing, I got the nickname kajh me (like catch me), although I have always owned a slow car!! I take offense to that Taliban comment, I was born and raised in Toronto, and do not want to be associated with those bastards. I do live in North York and how you figured that out.....I have no idea. I am 26 years old, just got married a month ago. BTW, Protege5Girl, I like your car!

kajhme.....don't worry abour the simple minded westsiders comment about the Taliban. He really is trying to me a smart ass....dont't hold the fact that Dave is a typical representation of that clan, that all of them are like that...

I really do have a knack for knowing where a guy lives by how he talks and and the attitude he carries. Other members can testify to this supernatural talent of mine. What made me guess you to be North York or Markham was your matter-of-fact posts. Very trite messages that lack a certain sense of intrigue and enthusiasm.
Not to say you are boring but the North York in you really shows even in the few posts I read before I posted my predictions.
