Actually can someone give me the dimension of the ractive filter? I need the diameter, height, and the size of the flange opening.

Dunno about Ractive, but the common ones are 3" in diameter, 2.5 or 2.25 reducers...

Should work fine Chops. Don't forget, a longer intake piping will create a resonance that actually aids in gaining power plus the benefits of colder air via the lower piping and duct. Can't wait to see it bud...

I was thinking of making my own CAI.
I wanted to get someone to mandrel bend me a piece of 3" pipe.
I would remove everything right after the...sensor thing... and put it down the fender hole with a cone filter at the end. (keeping the sensors of course)
Anyone wana go in on this idea??

So does a filter with 3" opening works with the Ractive piping?

I made my own CAI by moding the reactive one intake.
These are the parts u need
1 X reactive intake system
1 X reactive heated sheild filter
1 X dryer hose ..
All u do is install the intake .. and instead of putting the filter that came with the box.. and put the heated sheild filter one.. and add the dryer hose... I don't have any pics... but if u want to see it.. i can show you mine..
P.S i can get the reactive intake cheap...
