Anyone have any info on what is the best way to clean up the engine. I use my Pro as a dailey driver and it gets all kinds of crap in the engine bay. I am just wondering what you guys may use to clean it up? Any info would be appreciated thanks. http://toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Chris, you can use engine degreaser that are available at most auto shops. They are generally spray units that can be applied to your engine block to remove grease, dirt, etc. Once applied, let it settle for a few minutes, then spray water to rinse. Be cautious however on your electrical parts, such as ignition cables (spark plugs) & battery terminals.. Cover these items with plastic, especially your spark plug cables 'cuz water can seep through and dampen your spark plugs which can lead to a lot of problems. You can also use Armour-All cleaners/protectant to stuff such as hoses, plastic covers, etc. You may also find corroded metal parts, which can be cleaned by using WD-40 & a brush. Another option would be to clean them first, then painting them with high-heat metal/aluminum paint, also available at auto shops.
