Have you installed After-Market seats with the Universal slider?

What is involved? And If I had to get them installed how much does it cost?

They are called screws, usually have a thread on them and sometimes come with a nut and a washer but not always, you turn them clockwise to screw in and counter clockwise to unscrew. I hope this helps....

this is probably a dumb question........but what's the difference between like Tenzo's and Sparco's seats??

Sparco Seats (http://www.sparcousa.com/seats_street.asp)

They both seem the same to me......is it price?? Just wondering cause I saw some Sparco seats at JRP before.......

in the end i think it's quality, fit and finish.

you don't see TenzoR seats in those multi-million dollar rally cars.... only RacingSparco.

I am never doing a group buy again....never....lol. Group buy on seats will be tough.

If you want to investigate, find a retailer, find out if they would entertain the idea, get the details and post it on a the board.....

I have ordered mine already, so you are on your own on this one.

I wouldn't mind doing the group buy for the seats. I don't know alot about seats. My friend has one something R..maybe Tenzo....on a Prelude. He is selling it for $300 used. He said that I would need a $40 bracket if I wanted to install it on my car.

I also heard from another friend, she got a pair of seats shipped from Vancouver for $500 + S&H. (FOR 2 SEATS). But they are not as comfortable as the Tenzo ones.

So. What are the prices in Canuk Bucks, and can they be done cheaper by doing a group buy? I could use a good seat for my ole' bones.

I've seen the pics ... seats look good.
Dave: do they sit lower than stock? Did you end up using the stock sliders, etc or buy all new hardware?

pawood: Sparco are not cheap but they are a better deal than Recaro and at least as good quality. The msrp is somewhere around $800 each for the Torino.
