Hey raymond
I have noticed that when the AC is on and the fan is set to the middle [#2], the AC light blinks and sometimes turns off by itself...I have to change the dial to either #1 or #3 to keep the AC on...
Is this a Warranty issue?

Also...i noticed my driver side winshield washer spray, One of the holes is spitting out washer fluid while the other nozzels are Spraying...
I checked to see if t was clogged and Nope...it is clear..

Again...is this a Warranty item???

I am still under my Warranty KM limit [100K]

Ok guys, I will be Raymond for the day. I had that problem last year and my dealer replaced the switch for me under warranty. It started happening again this year so I took it back to my dealer and they ordered another switch for me which was back-ordered for the last 3 weeks. I am getting it replaced next week. I think there is a problem with the switch and when the replaced it last year, it was the same switch that they had in all P5s. I hope they fixed the problem with the switch this time around.

It's all done under warranty, I think the total including labour was like 350.00 bucks but cost me nothing.

Go to your dealer and get it replaced.

This isn't sounding too good. Are all of you driving 2002's? I know Alex & Dave are...

As for the washer just "peeing" Alex, my dealership fixed mine with no problems. I reported it doing this from day one, but took it in just about four months ago when I had the (TSB) ECU flashed for that possible knocking in cold weather...

**** Update ***
Went to dealership and they said that they found Nothing wrong...
I explained to them it happens when I am on the highway...
But still they say Nothing is Wrong with the A/C.

I made sure they have on my history record that I had them look into this as i don't and will probably get burned when my Warranty expires and the problem worsens and i will have to end up paying for something that should have been replaced earlier...

I went to Westowne about the same problem. I didn't have the time to leave my car so I just mentioned the problem. One service guy told me right away that it might be a problem with the "fan speed resistor". He claimed that it was somewhat common. So it seems odd that they couldn't adress the problem when you took your car in. Worst part is that it is now happening intermittentely. So chances are they would need to have the car for at least a day to reproduce the problem (and God knows how many kms, stupid gas prices!!!!http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif.

Anyways, I'll probably drop by there tomorrow and see what they'll say.

Avante has my car tomorrow to investigate this issue. So far I've only been able to duplicate it at 140km/h or higher, on fan speed two. The light does not come on save for the odd flicker or two. all other fan speeds work fine. This was with a full tank of gas and one passenger.

I know I've seen it act up at lower speeds around 80 to 100kmh, probably with the car loaded with people or cargo or both. In any event I'll find out tomorrow.

Mazda is also investigating my water in the trunk problem, as well as fixing my driver's seatback which has play in it. And no i don't grind it when adjusting it, and no people don't pull on it, and no the driver's seat is not the best spot for animalistic fornication! lol
