Unfortunately last year I went through a car wash with my alloy rims. The guide rails scratched the clearcoat off the wheel near the tires. This year I have noticed some corrosion in that area and would like to get it fixed. Now, I know that there are different places that I can get the wheels fixed for $100 to $200 per wheel. However, I was thinking of doing a nice sanding job and putting the clearcoat on myself.
Has anyone done this? If so what clearcoat did you use and where did you get it?
