hi there.
i want to change/replace my crappy stock deck.

i just want to know whats the best aftermarkets that are out there.

i was looking at the futureshop website and found this alpine deck.
it was perfect, has everything that i need.

http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/product/alpine-electronics-alpine-mp3-wma-cd-car-deck-cde-100-cde-100/10134501.aspx?path=4678d7e8bf11cb259fa09bc8b11ff35den02

i just want to get some feed backs before i step out of the door and buy it.
if not, could you suggest me of any good decks out there for cheap or not to pricy.

thanks.

With hundreds to choose from, might help if you say what it is that you need and what your budget is. You should be fine with alpine though.

well, money does not really matter. as long as it has the features that is worth the money. im not trying to be cheap, but im not really looking into spending much. i just want to have an aux input and prolly ipod control.

do you think its worth my money?

I've got an Alpine CDA-986 that I bought from EHR about 3 years ago. Awesome deck and I got a pretty good deal on it. You can't go wrong with Alpine gear.

An ipod controlled deck comes in handy.

This one still has all those Auxiliary slots but ipod control is hidden.

First off, I don't want to rain on anyones parade but is actually a Panasonic built deck. To keep the costs down Alpine had it built by another manufacturer. If you want an ipod controlling deck you should look at one that has ipod through the back of the deck unless you want wires hanging off the front and getting tangled up. This deck is good for the money but for $50 more there are a lot of better decks out there.

For $100, it will serve its purpose, but seems very basic to me.
