does anybody have a picture of the vics solenoid? i can't find an actual pic only pics/schematics. i am goin to the junkyard tomorrow to get the valve solenoid, but can't figure out which it is

I think it's one of the valves by the circled number 2. (number 3 is the fuel pressure thingy).

ya that's the kind of thing i can find, not a real pic. i'll just pull a bunch of sensors/electrical thingys in that general area and figure it out later. thanks

All of the solenoid valves (EGR, FPR, VICS, etc.) look pretty much the same.

wow so that little thing is whats causing my cels? damn what an insignificant pos lol. i'll get away with paying $5 for that at the scrapyard... might as well grab the abs sensors i need and maybe an iac too. I figured this was a big part, thanks for your help!

There are 2 solenoids right on top of the intake mounted to a common plate. These are the ones you are looking for.

thanks, there were 4 or 5 3rd gen pros @ cookstowns junkyard, got the solenoid for $5. a blue sedan had a cai with a maf and stuff if anyone is interested in grabbing it.

edit: was an sri, not cai.
