I just had a big scare...my new Parada tires do not STOP on wet surfaces. I have been impressed with them until 15 minutes ago.
They handle VERY well on dry surface....but as soon as water is involved WATCH OUT! I was not expecting to slide 10 feet. It was as though I was on ice!
So I'm not going to say I don't reccomed them, after all they do handle well...but if you get them consider yourself warned!

You're just getting to know your brand new set-up, but once you do, it's okay.. Paradas (Z-rated) are known for their dry-surface performance but needs a bit of getting-used to on wet. I did not experience that with the Avid H4's, which suits both conditions very well, more of a general tourer for most conditions. The Parada design looks wicked though, asymmetric & large thread blocks, really agressive-looking..

Another thing to take into consideration is that the tires need a little bit of time to get "broken in". Another thing to check is the tire pressure.
Take care....

it's probably cause there's still a lot of tire dressing on the new tires! LOL.........just kidding!
the new tires will get better once there worn in a bit, and also their handling characteristics are quite different from the stock tires.....
can't wait to check them out sometime!
