Heya folks,

I am a rookie and have met or talked with a few people in the club, but would like to meet more.

I PM'd KDawgONE to see if it was ok to post this or if I had to go through offical club channels. He said it's all good.

I wanted to meet some members, especially some life-time modders to get advice on which direction I should take my P5 with and also meet some new friends.

The meet is at Shoeless Joe's: Scarborough
2826 Markham Road by Markham and McNichol (in between Finch and steeles). On staurday Aug 2nd, 2003 between 6pm and 8pm, but I will probably stay there longer, but I felt it was a comfortable pre-clubbing experience.

As for how long/what we will be doing, I plan on having several pints so I will be there for sure.

I hope 6pm is early enough to get a patio spot, if not maybe I will go earlier and read.

And since the only other member I have met in person is the Other Trevor, I will post what I am wearing.

Oh by the way if the patio is full I will be in the bar/smoking area which is small.

From Bramledesh.....
Take 401 East Bound until you get to Markham Road.
Exit North on Markham Road.
Continue North on Markham Rd, past Sheppard, you'll go over a big ass bridge that is above a bunch of railway tracks.
Continue North on Markham Rd. right after the bridge you'll pass Finch Ave. Continue you North, young one, you'll eventually come to McNichol. Hang a left at McNichol and hang another immediate left into the Plaza which is right on Markham Rd.

Me and I am sure a few others are going to hang in there for 'lil sushi(aka Linda) to show up until about 8:30-9:00pm.
But then I realize that they will probably want to have a drink or something, so we will be there most likely later.

Here's the location:

The most noticable landmark is a Petro Canada Gas Station.

The Plaza is immediately south of it across the street.  There's also some private gas station with a Green and Yellow sign which SJ is right behind.

DO NOT SPEED ON MARKHAM RD!

There are cops running radar or laser along the road near that location usually on the East side.

There is sometimes a cop on the N.E. corner of Markham and Finch above the Esso station in the used car lot.

Plus there are patrols in the area b/c the Police Station is just located above the 401 near Markham Rd.

There are cops waiting at that private gas station.  I live right up the street from there so that's how I know.

Decided since it is raining and all to just stay there and to have a few too many, of course that means I won't be driving home, so may have to leave my car over night or take a cab there.
