If you use a fully sync oil such as Mobil 1 how k's per oil change?

You could probably go 10,000km or more. I always use synthetic motor oil and change it every 5,000km.

mazda reccomends changes every 8000km for our cars i believe. i would just stick to that. can you go longer? probably, but why bother. get a routine and stick to it.

i always do mine every 5000, just a force of habit i guess. when i run "synthetic" after 5000km most of the time its not even black when i drain it, but w/e.

i still follow 5000km castrol syntec 5/30 i might change my grade maybe go 0/30 or 0/20 as the time goes by or only in the winter this year see if i can get better fule economy this year
its something that i will have to think about and see if i will get around to it

just get one done in before you leave here if it's been a while, then do one in texas before you head back. or do one in texas before you go into mexico.

not sure what kind of roads you'll be seeing, but remember additional dust in the air that passes through the air filter will break down your oil faster.

aviod using a high flow airfilter if there's alot of dust in the region that you'll be driving in .

I was planning on getting the oil changed just before I leave, It's 4000k one way, and I guess I will have to get one before I leave Mexico, I am estimating about 12,000k round trip.

7000km on my P5. With my Stang, whenever it tells me to change it.

Everytime I switch winters to summer tires or from summer to winter. I drive about 5k-8k yer half year, so is within the range and I ususally do it together
