I know there was a thread floating around about a DIY for these, but it looked like a pain in the ass. Just thought I'd post this as I found it while I was,...ahem,...working today.
Anyone know if they're ok for P5s? It says RX7 Protege, but I'm not sure what Gen they're talking about.

Also,...how does the price compare to local shops if anyone knows offhand?

I will give neither a yeh nor neh untill yo find out if they will fit. If they are, like most aftermarket fogs (the wrong size) you will have hard time fitting them in. Either way they will require some form of customization if they are to "fit" a prtoege as well as a an RX7, neier share much in common in the way of lighting space.
They may fit though, you would have to get more specs from the sller

Don't get them!!!!!
They are not properly sealed units, and moisture may get in them, causing condensation to build up inside.
Also, they are not the greatest in built quality. (i.e.- not the quality you would expect from Hella. That is why it is from their Optilux line)
How do I know all this you may ask...... because I have those exact same model on my car.

Ahhhh,..see that's good to know.
Did they not have any form of warranty on them? Can't you get your money back?

Doug... you got me on that one!!!
But seriously, you may not be happy. Warranty...I contacted Hella, and they are going to replace them for free. All I have to do is get off my lazy butt to remove them from the car, and ship them to California!
