Anyone used them before? Thoughts?

Little info available indicate they are made in Taiwan.. but decent reviews non-the-less.. Tirerack sells them for about half the price of Brembo. They also have e-coatings like OEM.

Brembo rears for my Acura are $180.. OEM are $250 and centric $100.. seems like I can grab two sets of centric for the price of the alternative. :)

They'll be fine. I'm running cheap rotors as are others without issues. In fact the cheap rotors on my '01 have lasted longer than others rotors that were more than triple the price.

Wow. Great deal on these rotors. May have to grab a set of front rotors for my MSP. They're $37 each! Even with shipping, it's still a great deal.

^ get a quote from Mazda first. For some reason the OEM rotors for my protege are only $63 each less TOP discount $110 total with tax. The centric rotors would be $120ish shipped.

Yeah I'll check with DWMpartsguy. But I think the MSP rotors will be more expensive though.

I'd cheap out too for street rotors, especially rear. My current fronts I picked up in the states for under 100 bucks for both rotors and a set of pads. Stopping power is better than the brand new OEM's I used last time.

Ordered my Centric Rotors today from Tirerack. $99 USD, will post my thoughts once I have them. Great price though.

I'm guessing Tirerack + conversion + shipping was still better than MOSI pricing?

^ No quote available from MOSI yet. I need rotors yesterday, can't wait.

^ Unfortunately our supplier only got the quotes for slotted centric rotors (just today actually), and we're expecting blanks tomorrow.

Marco, I sent you a PM with pricing.

For all others, I will do my best to post a new Brake pricing thread up tonight. We will be cheaper than Tire Rack for sure.

Never got a PM from you on the 16th as you had indicated, so I had no idea you were looking for the TSX. I've responded again, but we only have Protege pricing at this time.

^ cool no worries. When you have it, let me know. The price on the rears from tirerack was pretty good cause there was no $20 brokerage fee.. and shipping was $25.. front rotors for the protege or tsx however were not worth it from Tirerack.

I need new brakes too and was looking at Centric rotors and pads. They seem to make really nice stuff for a decent price.

I sent a PM requesting pricing yesterday. I guess you'll have that posted up soon.

Thanks,
Paul

I replied to your PM at 11:16am yesterday with the pricing on the rotors.

I got pulled away to some meetings last night, so I'll work on Brake GB pricing today since it's much more than just the Centric Rotors.

I never got your PM.

EDIT: I got your PM but it never showed up as new (if it did I some how cleared it without noticing). Sorry about that. Thanks for the reply. :)

My rotors arrived today.. it took only 3 days! UPS to my door from Indiana.. crazy.

I can confirm they are made in Taiwan.. printed right on the box. The e-coating looks good, but can't really tell the difference from reg paint.

Pics to follow.

What was shipping like? Duties and other B.S.?

There is none when you order from TireRack. They pay everything (pst, gst, duty, brokerage, etc) on your behalf.

TheKid quoted me front and rear rotors and MOSI is cheaper then TireRack.

Ya Tirerack makes things simple. They charge you everything upfront no surprises. For some reason though, the rear rotors for my TSX had no brokerage fee... only $3.48 duty and $27.62 for shipping.

This includes tires.. but I've yet to find tires cheaper on Tirerack than from local shops like Tires23... unless you are willing to have them shipped to a buffalo install shop and then drive over the border with them.

I bought Blizzaks WS-50 for my Sienna on clearance for $47 a tire 3 or 4 years ago. No surprises at the door.

DiscountTireDirect is the same way. They charge $160 that covers everything. They had 205/45/17 Hankook V12 Evo K11 on sale for $78 making it $472 shipped all in. I kick myself for hesitating. Now they are $98 a tire, $548 shipped. It's not worth it since you can buy them from Tires23 installed for $610.
