I just purchased some tail lights for my car.
The add said for the 1998 Mazda protege 323. I have the 1998 protege. Is the 323 a sub modle of the the protege. I got the lights today an they no were near fit. I was under the impression that the 323 was the european name for the protege. Anywys any help on the subject would be great.
Thanks.

in other countries they start selling the 3rd gen protege in 1998 and called it the 323. you have a 2nd gen even though its a 98.

Oh ok so these lights would fit a 3 gen then. Well if anyone wants them pm me. If Bo one dose I hve to do a bunch of fender work anyways so I'll just mil them to fit. It might look sweet.
They are euro tail lights slightly used from th amarican product company.

you have to be careful with those;
for alot of "jdm/euro" tails they advertise the bj chassis from 98 - 2003;
which doesn't fit on the 2nd gen
