My wife has decided she wants my HU. So, time to upgrade *grin*. Are there any HUs (DIN or 2DIN) that can take an OBDII signal and show gauges on the screen? Any that can be programmed to take inputs from electronic sensors (voltage or resistance readings) and translate into a gauge display, or any add-on box that can do that and output a display to an AUX input on the HU?

only one i know of is this: http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-auto-parts-tires-audio-GPS-Pioneer-AVG-VDP1-VEHICLE-DIAGNOSTICS-PROCESSOR-250-RETAIL-W0QQAdIdZ181494103

but you have to get a compatible Pioneer headunit with a screen.

Magden has an add on thats pretty trick,a little pricey but you can add it an aux port on a deck and display guages.

It was in teh Skyline in Fast and Furious, the newest one

the double din touchscreen seemes perfect for a car with 3 slots.
have ur control unit above..and still have space for ur regular audio deck.

hmm i like the fact that the magden unit has 16 analog data inputs. but a shame it can only log 5 of them, also on the pro the obd2 port is pretty much usless for usefull info other than ign timing.

plus the price tag is pretty steep.
