I got the same milage going on right now.
It's funny cause around the 410km mark, It looked exactly like yours but now at around 440km it's about half way between the 1/4 and 1/2 marks. I'll go take a pic later on.
I think I'm gona try that ground wire thing.

i usually get between 600-650km/gas tank. the mileage is good on the pro5. i live in the east end (whitby area)so i mostly do highway driving.
i used to get MUCH less with my pro '00 .

Last tank of gas I challenged myself. I did the speed limit everywhere I went and didn't rev high or take off hard.
I kept my shifts at 2500-3000 rpm's like a previous post had mentioned.
On the highway at night I used the cruise control at 110km/h
where I could.
I got 711 km's out of a fully squeezed in tank of gas.

I noticed the fuel economy really drops if I go above 120km/hr. If I drive around 120km/hr I get about 600-630 km a tank. If I do around 100km/hr I'll get around 660-670km out of a tank (I've never let it run under 4 or 5L of fuel though).

It's sort of funny on how i lost the discipline since gas prices went down. During the Gulf War and we were being raped by OPEC Sand Shieks and the Venezuelan strike I drove more cautiously and economically. The GCPT mudflaps and bra didn't help in the Coefficient Drag department either. Lowering springs have me gunning through corners like a madman too http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif

An ex-friend of mine installed a shift light and set it to 2500-3000 rpms to get max gas mileage.
I have no idea why, its a P.O.S. old MR-2. The door stop wedge design before they improved the shape.
It was painted so bright yellow that it had a green shine to it.

OK.....Now that I just refilled when Light turned on...
My Trip Meter showed 556Km....
Man...it just chuggs after the halfway point...
Oh Well..I'm Happy..
But I sure wish i was getting numbers like some of you here...

Mind you I don't practise what I preach all of the time and my numbers don't go as high as some of those guys. As long as by the 1/2 way point I am in the high 200 to low 300km I am happy. Low to mid 500kms I could see a light come on but I know I can drive another 80km.
I get ancy by nature and fill up. I like to know that if there is ever a major stop and go, construction detour, accident or I need to gun it from a cop or ghetto thug I can. I need to get rid of my dual 10" Bandpass subwoofer and amp and get one good 12".
