Im looking at doing an order from Corksport next month. Ill likely be getting the JDM diamond-clear projector headlights as well as the JDM/EDM diesel hood scoop. Thought maybe you might like to get in on the order and get some JDM clear corners or if your interested in the headlights, maybe we could get a discount for buying two sets. It would certainly save on shipping and duty (or I can have them mark the order as a gift like I have in the past and we dont pay duty)
Anyone with a Gen1 might be interested in getting the Familia center pannel for their trunk. It replace the section that has your liscence plate in with a piece that says FAMILIA. It is a JDM piece.

Sounds interesting, but $163 for the decklid piece? But hey, if you're putting in an order, I need a "DOHC 16 Valve" sticker set. My car must have been hit at one time before I got it, because it's missing the sticker on the right side...

I know some prices are absurb ($100 US for g2 clear corners) but you have to remeber that these are real JDM pieces imported from Japan. They are not TDM (Tawainese Domestic Market) pieces like you get for most Honduhs. That is to say, most "REAL JDM" parts that Honduhs get are just knock-offs of what the J-spec parts look like. Also, these are not pieces made by APC that they sell 1000 of a week...
As for a DOHC sticker, just go to your local sign-shop and they can make it for you for probably $5 or $10.

Well, if you're already going to order something, I can just give you $16(they're $10 American) when you order. I want it to exactly match the one of my left side. Besides, there's something about having the ones that are supposed to be there, instead of fabricated ones.

Nice of you to ask but just got my J-Spec front clears from Corksport a couple of weeks ago but yes, I'd be interested in getting either the J-Spec headlights or the rear lamps (red/clear) next. Have you checked with Derrick as to how much discount we can get ? Please keep me updated on stuff... Thanks !

Hang on ill call....I just talked to Ben and the headlight price is $240 US but he can sell them for $232 which isnt alot because he said there isnt much of a markup on them. He said that if we get a somewhat large order (eg. 2sets of headlights, 1 set of taillights, G1 trunk garnish, etc) he could probably give 10% off or something. Its no alot but where we save is on shipping!!! I'll likely be gettin the headlights. Let me know if your interested and WHAT your interested in.
Gen 3 Pros are also more than welcome on this order.
And yes, ill order your DOHC stickers too when we order (My bad, I forget your name Gen1GT...)

there is no Familia badge like we have for our Protege here in the US, the only have Familia decals and the odd ones have 323 decals. There are however, pretty cool Mazdaspeed badges (both round ones that are the same size as the Mazda emblem and rectangular box ones.)

anyone have any idea as to what to do w.the license plate after getting the familia garnish?   do you know where i could get JDM rear bumpers? (thats where the license plate is on the JDM cars)


oh, and josh,  i've seen maybe 4 93 GT's on the road as well as mine and have noticed that none of them have the DOHC sticker on the passanger front fender.  i think they're made like that?  i dunno. just a thought.

LOL...so they ALL only have them one the left side? That's too funny. Sure, I'll give you the other one. My exs' 91 GT had GT stickers on the fenders. I thought it was just some cheesy thing the last owner put on, so I took them off! How ignorant was I? Oh, btw, that GT in question is sitting in a scrap yard somewhere. I'm not sure where. But there are cool seats, and rear discs, and a BP-DE motor to be had.....

Aside from buying a JDM rear bumper, you could mount the plate with a FRONT liscnecse plate mounting bracket, or screw it right into the bumper or take it to a customs shop and have it "FRENCHED" in using a plastic welder. There is a place advertised in Performance Auto and Sound that does it. they are in T.O. but the name slips my mind right now. Corksport offers the rear bumper (or a kit) but shipping will probably be killer as it will be a truck freight. Let me know if you are interested in the trunk garnish tho...

As a side note, Corksport will be marking our order as a "GIFT" in the hopes that we will not have to pay duty. In this event, I will pay the duty myself upfront and everyone will be charged duty FOR THE VALUE OF THIER ORDER. Lil_sushi, the J-spec front clear corners should be available for your 3rd gen Protege. I believe Corksport is just in the process of updating their new website therefore the full parts listing isn't reflected yet. I suggest you call/email Derek, Corksport's resident expert on this. Yes, they do have JDM clears for the 2000. Like Eric said, I just talked to Ben from C.S. and he said that they have to update alot of parts from their site. So they are available. I didnt ask how much but I believe last time I checked they were about $100 USD.
