Installed the short shifter and bushing last night bye mysef. took me 2 hours. I took me sweet time and ran into some unexpected stuff. The snap ring gave me a hard time. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif The bolt that holds the shifter didn't want to go back in. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif The stud came out of the tranny instead of the bolt comming off the stud for the bushing. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif And the stock bushing gave me a hard time too. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif

But it was worth every second under the car. The shifts are soooooooooooo sweeeeeeeeet. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif

Ha Ha! Ditto on the stud for the bushing, the stock bushing and the bolt at the bottom of the shifter!! http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif

At least now we can enjoy the fruits of our labour. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

B&G SS + KB BUSHING

It was worth the $32 I noticed a more solid feel and it seems to suck into gear when I am banging gears!

Thanx Jason!
