First off, i dunno if this topic is in the rite section...so i apologize...anyways...

I picked up a Ractive strut bar from Avante today, (btw, great place with great service) and i installed the strut bar myself as soon as i got home...how many members have this strut bar, and were u guys able to mount the cruise control back on???...the drivers side was easy to mount on...i took off the inital black piece and mounted the bracket onto the car, then tightened it all together with the bolts...the passeneger side, however, was a bit tricky...i know i had to do the exact same thing, but i also had to remove the cruise control...after mounting the other side, there is no way to mount the cruise back again...i remember raymond said sumthing bout another member who has this and the cruise control mount or bracket had to be removed or sumthing like that...i dunno...as of now my cruise control is not mounted on anything and is sort of resting on the strut tower...any help with this, would be cool...thanx...

Can't help you with the cruise control, but what's the strut bar like? Any noticable difference, or just psycho-sematic?

Hi D-Menace,
I have the bar on my car with no problems on the cruise control.
I think I have some pics posted somewhere.
Let me look and I will post the links.

How you doing?

I installed the Ractive Strut bar on my car. I've got the 1.8L '99 so I had to modify my C/C bracket in order for it to fit perfectly.

i installed the strut bar myself and i had to take off all that junk and the passenger side and i noticed it didn't fit back on properly because of this black spacer so i ripped it off.. but ask other ppl if theres a better way tot do it
