If it some sort of pot-lock planned, I have a tribal marinated Bbq chicken recipie that you guys and girls will love. The ghetto championship trophies from NY, MI, ATL NJ are proof of the taste.
Lead me to the fire as I love to grill ,cause I'm no girlie man. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

For real though, someone should organize this, before it gets too cold/dark to do it. BBQ=outside since there are only 2 weeks left in Sept, I have a feeling it's going to turn into the October, End of Season BBQ

It seems that members are excited but there is no response for the execs?
It would be great to meet. If the events coordinators are busy with other car show related events perhaps someone can take this function over and get it going.
Once it gets cold the opportunity to do this is gone.

Let's just say that it is in the works and should be announced shortly. Everyone is working hard on getting an awesome get together for the BBQ. Your thoughts aren't unheard, but there is some planning involved. I'm sure Chops will post something once it is more concrete.
September 16th, 2002, 02:42 PM
Very true. I'd try to organize it, but I live way out in Hamilton(which is silly), and I live in an apartment(yeah, lets cram 40 people on my balcony for a BBQ). But seriously, obviously it has to be at someone's house(or a park), who has a BBQ. And it should most likely be on a Sat or Sun, so the most people can attend. I'll do whatever I can to help too. Just let me know, whoever's in charge of this kinda thing....

...It crossed my mind again today as my neighbours BBQ charcoals and lava brick smell drifted in my window while I was sleeping.
That is one of the more pleasant smells in Brampton and Malton combined, besides my crown airfreshener!!! http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif

Crown Air Fresheners ehhh!!
West End Flea Markets is the place.
Steeles & Airport Rd. Brampton Flea Market or Hwy 427 Flea Market in Rexdale.
Thanks Chops for politely refusing an airfreshener I know you want one. Plus they are made in Korea.
And MP5 Navy I hope you have yours up and mounted proud. I hope you can show the rest of the Korean clan members so they will want one too.

I personally don't mind if it gets a little chilly for a BarBQue as long as we can eat indoors where it is warm.
Back in the PJ's, the brothers and I would take the grill in our triple down goose jackets, ghetto toques, gloves and timbalands. As long as somebody brings some ALIZE for me to drink while I cook. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Bud tastes like water. Save a few most Canadian beers do. That is why boys and girls you should shop for international beers at the LCBO something from the Czech Republic Germany or Poland
If we BBQ I will bring some samples.
I highly recommend Weisse beer (German) single filtered.
Oh yeah............if I wanted water I would ask for water.....LOL

not even too sure about the Coors (cuz that really does taste like Lake Ontario water ... and yes i have tried it accidentally), but Corona is the best. people think it's "piss" beer, but i think it goes down the smoothest out of all the beers i've ever had. mmmmm............beeeeeeer....... http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Black label is really cheap as well. You get all the benefits of the extra % and the price

I find Label kinda harsh, but well worth it because of the fact that its the cheapest, somewwhat name brand beer. Or it used to be.
I smell a beer poll coming on.

Corona? Corona is beer for people who don't drink beer. It's the beer for non-beer-drinkers. It's the beer for people who can't handle good beer, but still want the cool beer image. Corona is to beer, as Zinfindel is to wine......

Beer is Beer? Is a car a car? That's fine, I'll just go hop in my Yugo, head down to the car dealership, and buy that Pinto I had my eye on. Oh wait, there IS that guy next door selling his Renault LeCar. And oh...my grandma has that K Car she doesn't want anymore.....

Technically...yes, a car is a car. A car was designed to get you from point A to point B quicker then your two litlle feet would, if it does that then it is successfull. The option of weather it is a pinto or a ferrari tells you how much quicker you can achieve that goal. It comes down to a choice of personal preference. Beer is Beer...its intenet is to get you drunk....think of the flavour as the speed. Its personal preference....So why slander?
