I am dying to get rid of amber on my car.

For some reason, I have this written down :

95-98 APC Mitsubishi Eclipse

I think someone told me about it...can't remember though...I have a litter of scrap paper surrounding my computer and jot things down as I see them... http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

I could easily get rid of the problem. I would use an air compressor to blow out the vapour and use clear silicone to re-seal the lenses and the plug. My left side has magically cleared up but the right remains fogged. I will fix it as soon as I get my hands off my other mods that need install, paint, or adjustment.

Brullen are a local exhaust-making company who are doing some design work for P5's and others. People seem very happy with their work and knowledge of the P5.

A few things to mention, firstly the easiest way to clear the moisture out of your lenses is a hair dryer. It works quik and is rarely hot enough to melt the plastic. Secondly there are no direct fit clear bumper lenses for the Protege 5. The closest you will find are the late model RX7 which are very pricey. they are the same shape but require soem modifications. You can also use the lenses made for the Mitsubishi Eclipse, Toyota Celica and the Dodge Neon. All require moch more mdification to fit like stock. the reason is that the bumper and the lenses have a bit of a curve to them and the rest of the cars have the lenses sitting flush which not only makes them stick out quite a bit when you put them on but they will also have gaps between the bumper and the lense. You will also have to make clips or holes in your bumper to fasten these. It should only be a matter of time untill these are released for this car but those that must have now will have some minor work to do.

Thirdly, since the latest incarnation of the P5 have these, you can just wait a few months, then get them from your Mazda dealer, and not worry about retro-fitting something that isn't perfect. (Not bashing those that have already done it, but since the new models come with, the replacements will be available soon enough for those that haven't done it yet.)

Oooops... misread, I thought he was talking about side marker lenses, not Bumper lenses....

Paul, what up? Going to the post office to pick up my lenses. Mitsubishi clear bumper lenses. Having second thoughts putting it in though. Got them from ebay, $50.00.

If I end up installing them I'll post some pics.
