Hey everyone...just letting you know that it's almost been a complete Month since i found my tires bubble. and also for the last month i've been driving on Stock tires...

I love the car community and love that we have a hobbie and are representing toronto in a way...

But...all the moding is a complete pain in the ass...i have lost tones of faith in part and tire industry..

When i was ordering these rims i was promissed them by Jamie from grounded conceptz that is would take 2 weeks...well that turned out to be 2 months...so i got them in august of last year..which was too late for DKN and most of the summer gone...now it's the beinging of summer and i still yet again don't have my rims on...Wheels Direct hasn't had Kumos in stock since the day i brought in my bubbled tires...so yet again i am waiting

I love my club....I love my Car...

But am having 0% fun with modding my car...

Thanks for listening ...you guys rule

sorry to hear that man. i agree that sometimes modding can be more of a headache than anything. i hope things turn out better for you this summer. modding is like a disease...once you start you can't stop and you use a shitload of money in the process. but i believe that it is somehow worth it in the end.

Hi Nick,
It's too bad things aren't going as good as they could be.
I say stick with it! It will get better.
Keep hasseling the WTZ guys for tires. I know it's a pain in the ass, but it works.

Nick... You're quitting mods? LOL You gave up too quick. Nearly, every How-To I have written had me cursing this freaking hobby! I keep telling myself - no more mods but whenever I have some disposable income I'm looking for parts and gadgets. My latest mod project installing a Sparco steering wheel went seriously off the mod budget as I had mod my wallet to buy more mod parts to mod the parts that I set out to mod in the first modding place! Ahhh!

But in the end the car is never really done for good. Stuff will need replacing so you'll end up replacing them with something trick, something tech, and something bling.

Isnt' that always the case...you budget let say 300 for a project and usally ither it ends up costing more or somthing goes wrong and you have to pay to get everything back to normal...

Buying parts and waiting ...has been so emotionally draining ....i'm not down anymore...i pray for a simple solution...one person that could get you parts and install them all for a desent price and on time...i think i'm dreaming of a fantasy world...or California..hehe http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Oh, so I'm not the only one that feels that way about mods sometimes? I only have a few and they have managed to frustrate me at times. I can't imagine you big boys with your numerous toys! Call me a pussy but, although I'm probably not done modding my car, I don't see myself going all hardcore like others. Saying that, I gotta admit though, seeing some of the sweet rides in the club does manage to tempt me! But alas, I must stay strong http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif .

Nick, have you thought of the downside to giving up tuning/moding the car?

The ramifications of that are that you'll just have to give up on Natasha's sisters and hand them over to me...

dr_"I'll be more than happy to carry the torch for you"_sarcasm.
