I was looking around for a new set of rims for my 2000 Mazda Protege LX. I know it takes 4 bolt rims, but I do not know the bolt offset. I was wondering if someone knew the offset for my car.

I don't know the offset of the 4 bolt wheels but it would depend on how wide they are. Your bolt pattern would be 4 x 100 mm.
The ES / Protege5 wheels are 16x6 +50 mm offset
The MP3 / Mazdaspeed wheels are 17x7 +55 mm offset
So if your wheels are 6" wide, they are probably +50 mm offset.
All 3rd gen Proteges (1999 - 2003) have the same offset requirements, so you can use the fitment recipe.
