Still looking for more hp but the tq numbers are impressive. My dp/exhaust seems to be the Achilles Heel now.

That is a VERY impressive number on a dyno dynamics dyno. Likely closer to 280 on a dynojet.

Custom 3" downpipe is complete! It's a sweet looking piece. To the untrained eye it may look somewhat unconventional since it was made to adapt to the Version 1 MAM Street Sleeper kit. I have pics in my camera but I forgot to bring the USB cord to plug it into my laptop and I'm sitting in a hotel room right now in Victoria. Racing tomorrow, with my tuner co-driving so it should be another productive day! :D (I may be able to get a quick spin on the rollers before the Auto-X. If so, I'll post the results and hopefully the gains!)
I'll get the pics up when I get home.

Ran out of time and couldn't get a dyno for measured gains but from actually driving I have to think it is significant. We'll get it on the rollers again soon. :D

From the curve it looks like you may want a smaller turbo with maybe more psi, thats a bit of a wait for th epower to come. Looks like its a riot though around 4000 when you start to spin it up but it dies off in the high rpm too. Something seems off, you should keep building till 6500 unless thats where fuel dumps at 5000. See if they can run ya one with a a wideband so you can compare the two, might just need to pull some fuel to make serious power

Actually there's heat tape on the lower rad hose. :D

It was fabbed for me at ZENSPORT (http://www.zensport.ca/index.php).

needs cams and VTCS delete... it falls on its face at high rpm

and clean up that oil leak!

Ya, I've been having a hell of a time with that AWR pan. It's going to come off once again and we're going to check the welds.

The dyno chart looks like a high-power NA build to me. 200whp at 7000 RPM is hardly a "dip" or "falling on it's face." Show me a stock dyno curve of any other FS powered mazda, and I'll show you a curve that falls flat on its face.

I think it's a great looking chart. It's one FI car I'd love to drive, you just have to keep it above 4000 RPM. It's too bad you can't have adjustable cam gears on both the intake and exhaust side; I think playing with cam timing could really make that power curve come alive.

Got a new AWR pan in the mail yesterday so when I find time to change it hopefully that will be the end of the oil leakage. Have to do some more tuning too. The car loves WOT but when I try to progressively squeeze on more throttle (to control wheelspin) the car wants to run like crap. I've also got a slight wastegate leak so new gaskets are waiting to go in. It will all have to wait until after my trip to Toronto (alas without the car :() next weekend.

agreed the downpipe is dope i wish i could weld like that the one im making shit in comparison but same style off the turbo
